VetMED is looking for experienced and motivated Veterinary Assistants to join our team. Emergency/Specialty. VetMED is an AAHA-accredited specialty referral and emergency veterinary hospital. We have a busy 24/7 ER service and board-certified specialists in Surgery, Dermatology, Imaging and Internal Medicine. We are looking for experienced Veterinary Assistants to support our hospital and provide high quality care for our patients and our clients. Certified assistants preferred but all strong applicants will be considered. We need veterinary assistants for overnight shifts Thursday, Friday and Saturday, either 12p-12a or 7p-7a. You would be working with a strong team of technicians to support our hospital in all important aspects (patient care, patient restraint, radiographs, inventory, labs, filling prescriptions, client care, etc.). Advancement programs are available to qualified and motivated individuals to ensure growth and development of skills within the hospital. Ideal candidates are motivated, eager to learn, and able to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Applicants should be self-motivated, have great attention to detail, and thrive on working as a strong team.
