Job Overview Veterinary Technician / Experienced Veterinary Assistant $23-$30 per hour, based on experience and licensure Full-time preferred | Part-time considered Monday-Friday | 7:30am-6:00pm | No weekends We are a busy, privately owned, and growing veterinary practice offering a collaborative, team-based approach to patient care. Our hospital includes multiple veterinarians and provides a wide range of services, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, and physical therapy. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine while fostering a supportive, respectful workplace where team members feel valued. We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a practice that truly values teamwork, learning, and quality care. What we're looking for Reliable attendance and professionalism Confidence and competence in anesthesia monitoring Strong communication skills with clients and coworkers Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment A team-oriented mindset and willingness to grow Responsibilities include Safe animal restraint and comfort-focused handling throughout the hospital Venipuncture, injections, IV catheter placement, and urine sample collection Running in-house diagnostics including lab work, radiographs, blood pressure, and cytology Accurate medical math for drug calculations, anesthesia, CRIs, and prescriptions Setup, monitoring, and recovery of anesthesia for surgical and dental patients Dental procedures including radiographs, charting, cleanings, and for RVTs, simple extractions Intake and discharge of medical, surgical, and dental patients Medical record keeping, discharge instructions, and client education Assisting with hospital maintenance including OSHA compliance, controlled substance logs, inventory, and general day-to-day upkeep Working collaboratively with visiting specialists who perform procedures on-site
