Full-Time, Tuesday, Thursday- Saturday, 10 a.m.

Salary :
$20- $25 / hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostic procedures and treatments related to the emergency department. Comfortable with monitoring anesthesia and assessing patients during procedures. Conduct diagnostic tests, radiographs, and routine blood monitoring. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure proper documentation of procedures. Communicating and educating pet owners on medical conditions, treatment plans, and at-home care. Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care to patients. Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.Skills:
Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assistance Laboratory work Pharmacology Patient recovery Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients Works well in a team environment Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed with patient care Maintain accurate and complete medical records Helping clients and doctors during humane euthanasia's Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately Maintain inventory and supplies for procedures and patient husbandry.Qualifications:
2 years minimum Veterinary Medicine experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common conditions (Preferred but not required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
