From scheduling to our surgical suite, each member of our facility is passionate about understanding what each family's vet care needs are. We are seeking a Veterinary Doctor's assistant (DA) to join our growing clinic. The ideal candidate is one who loves working as a team player and independently in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must also posses a strong foundation of medical knowledge in order to explain treatments to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• General nursing care while assisting technicians
• Collect and Record patient case histories upon intake and in exam room
• Presenting and Reviewing treatment plans with pet owners
• Educate pet owners on home care
• Restrain animals for examination/treatment
• Perform In-House diagnostics and X-Rays
• Dispensing and Explaining Medications
• Administer Oral & Subcutaneous therapies
• Triage Urgent & Critical Care patients
• Discharging surgery patients

Schedule:

10 hour shift 4x10 Sunday•
