We are a one doctor veterinary practice in Long Beach. We treat every patient as our own as possible, for this reason we are highly rated on multiple social media like google, yelp and Facebook. We are AAHA accredited! We are looking for a new members of our team who is experienced and skilled RVT or veterinary assistant. Candidates must have work ethic and positive personality, need to be reliable and punctual. We want somebody who is passionate about their job so they can work happily everyday helping our patients, love to provide medical services rather than come and fill the time. We use Idexx lab machines, so if you are familiar with using and maintaining these machines, that's a plus. If you are not an RVT, we prefer somebody with control medication handling permit and familiar with logging and CURES. Candidates need to be familiar with taking radiographs and using digital radiograph machines and taking dental radiography. Candidate must be familiar with regular dental cleaning, venipuncture, placing IV catheter, restraining, handle fractious animals, anesthesia monitoring, taking blood pressure, cytology slide prep, skin scraping prep, DTM culture prep, taking vitals, customer service and basic computer skills. We'd like to have somebody who is a great communicator and team player. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience and skill level, we offer health + dental + vision insurance once you finish your introductory period successfully.
