This is a fast-paced, client-facing position focused on coordinating appointments, documenting medical information, communicating treatment plans, preparing estimates, and guiding clients through their pet's visit or hospitalization. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, remains calm under pressure, and takes pride in providing an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily appointments and workflow with veterinarians Review medical records and client intake information Obtain patient histories and assist with medical documentation Communicate patient updates, treatment plans, estimates, fees, deposits, and hospital policies Prepare and explain treatment estimates Collect deposits and client payments Enter treatments, medications, fluids, feeding instructions, vitals, and recheck laboratory work into SmartFlow Submit diagnostic requests through ezyVet and SmartFlow Prepare prescriptions and accurately label, package, or reconstitute medications Prepare and review discharge instructions with clients Explain medication, diet, home-monitoring, and follow-up instructions Review invoices to ensure all services and medications are properly documented and charged Complete client callbacks and follow-up communication as directed Help maintain efficient patient and client flow throughout the hospital Qualifications Professional, compassionate, and confident communication skills Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy clinical environment Dependable, punctual, and capable of taking initiative Comfortable discussing treatment estimates and payment requirements with clients Able to communicate calmly with distressed or emotional clients Familiarity with ezyVet, SmartFlow, veterinary medications, or veterinary medical terminology is a plus Ability to follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection-control standards Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, and restrain animals weighing up to 40 pounds independently and heavier animals with assistance Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform repetitive movements Ability to work safely around animals of different sizes, temperaments, and medical conditions Comfortable working around animal dander, bodily fluids, disinfectants, medical equipment, and varying noise levels Why Join LBC Vets?
