We are a well-established and growing animal physical rehabilitation center, offering Class 4 Laser, underwater treadmill, PiezoWave shockwave, and neuromuscular electrostimulation treatment modalities. We also offer veterinary orthotics and prosthetics, therapeutic exercise, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and behavioral and nutritional consultations. Previous professional experience of a year or more with hands-on veterinary assisting is required. Previous experience with or study of small animal physical rehabilitation is ideal but not required. This position entails collaborating with other animal rehabilitation assistants and assisting our physical rehabilitation veterinarians. We provide on-site training as well as regular lunch-n-learns, enabling each staff member the opportunity to grow their skills and eventually to provide direct patient care with independent client interaction. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and squat throughout the workday.
