Full Job Description About Us:
ARK Veterinary Care is a dedicated animal (cat/dog) hospital committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our furry patients 7 days a week. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician / Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments Prepare and maintain exam rooms, surgical suites, and other clinic areas Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed Care for hospitalized animals, including feeding, monitoring, and providing comfort Maintain accurate medical records and assist with inventory management using computers and technology proficiently Provide excellent customer service to pets and their owners
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Passion for animal care and a commitment to providing compassionate service Ability to effectively learn new skills, concepts, and technologies to adapt to evolving industry standards and project requirements Due to the nature of our business, weekend shifts are essential. Applicants must be willing to work weekends
Certification:
(Preferred) Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
Experience:
(Preferred) 1+ year of experience in a veterinary setting
