Job Type Full time At VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery Team.

Salary :

$ 22 - $ 28 / hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, 4x10-hour

Location :

This will include at least one weekend day.

Duties will include:

Maintaining medical records. Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments. Preparing medications and prescriptions. Communicating in person and on the phone with clients. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. Assisting in procedures. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
