Role:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every pet and their person. You'll work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and client care specialists to support outpatient visits from check-in to discharge.

Your day-to-day will include:

Taking detailed patient histories and communicating key concerns to the veterinarian. Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats during exams and procedures. Administering vaccines and other treatments, performing radiographs and running diagnostic lab samples. Providing client education on wellness care, medications, and follow-up instructions. Creating calm, positive experiences for nervous or fearful pets. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, quick on their feet, and finds purpose in helping both animals and people. You'll need excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy setting.
