Duties Assist with animal restraint, handling, and behavior management to ensure safe and stress-free procedures Support veterinary technicians during surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments by preparing equipment and monitoring patient status Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections following veterinary protocols while maintaining strict record keeping Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning kennels, and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the clinic Handle front desk responsibilities including client communication, appointment scheduling, and record management Support animal intake and discharge processes with thorough pet care instructions and documentation Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment by performing thorough cleaning of treatment areas, cages, and equipment using appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Qualifications Previous kennel experience or animal handling background preferred; experience with dogs, cats, or equine animals is a plus Veterinary technician experience or veterinary clinic experience highly desirable Skilled in animal restraint techniques, medication administration, IV catheter placement, and surgery support Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow safety protocols including PPE use and proper sanitation procedures Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion for animals and clients Join us in providing top-tier pet care while advancing your career in veterinary medicine!
