Surgery & ICU Veterinary Technician & Technician Assistants Who we are Summit Veterinary Specialty Center is a new specialty hospital opening in Northern Colorado in Summer 2026. Summit was founded to redefine what veterinary specialty care can be. • Dr. Megan Tzipory (DACVECC) is our dedicated hospitalist criticalist. She is not split between an ER and an ICU—her full focus is the inpatient population and the team caring for them.

  • We have a VTS in anesthesia who will provide additional mentorship and support for anesthesia cases. We will meet each team member where they are and help to create a plan to further their growth! 4. True technician and assistant utilization (scalable to your level)
  • We believe everyone thrives when their work structure matches their skillset.
  • We are dedicated to advancing your skills and empowering you to practice at the top of your license. 5. Profit sharing (quarterly)
  • All support staff are eligible to be part of our profit sharing program.
  • We value your hard work (and let's be honest, we couldn't do what we do without you!), and you ddeserve to share in the financial success of what we build together. 6. Cross-training and skill development
  • We actively support technicians and assistants in developing and maintaining their skills, including opportunities for anesthesia support alongside specialty procedures.
