What You'll Do:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our doctors, technicians, clients, and patients throughout the day. Every day brings variety, but your core responsibilities include: Assisting veterinarians and technicians during appointments, treatments, and procedures. Obtaining patient histories and helping prepare exam rooms for appointments. Providing safe and compassionate animal handling and restraint. Assisting with venipuncture, radiology, laboratory sample collection, and other patient care tasks as you are trained. Helping maintain clean, organized, and safe exam rooms, treatment areas, surgical suites, and kennels. Supporting patient workflow and helping the team stay on schedule. Communicating clearly with veterinarians, technicians, CSRs, and other team members. Helping support and educate clients when appropriate. Occasionally assisting at the front desk or with client communication as needed. Jumping in wherever needed to support the team and provide excellent patient care.
