Job Description

Our small, stellar team is looking for the perfect person to support our veterinarians and veterinary technicians. We are primarily looking for someone to help in rooms. The ideal candidate is equally happy to keep moving through appointments during busy times as they are finding a project during slower times. Only candidates with 1+ years of clinic experience will be considered.

Duties:
  • Take detailed, accurate medical histories
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations and blood draws
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
  • Support the front desk by helping with responsibilities such as client communication, appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical records
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
  • Proficiency in performing medical procedures and administering medications
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary team members
  • Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and laboratory testing
Hours:
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
    8:00am-6:00pm (1hr unpaid lunch)
  • Saturday (at least every other): 8:00am-1:00pm Wages commensurate with experience
Pay:
From $30,000.00 per year
