Job Description
Catzablanca is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant. You should have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Veterinary Hospital setting. A passion for cats, their owners and for learning. Here are some things you will be doing in this position: Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and treatment. Fear free based handling during examinations and procedures. Administer medications directed by the veterinarian. Record keeping, and filling prescriptions. Perform routine laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis. Assist with radiographs and ECGs. Clean and maintain examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment, stocking all stations, kennels, general hospital cleaning Stocking Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
