Job Description
The position entails some reception, assisting veterinarian in exam rooms, and scribing exam and surgical notes. Laboratory sample handling, radiographing techniques, surgical pack sterilization, and general cleaning of the hospital are also tasks associated with the position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, some college education, and a strong interest in the practice of veterinary medicine. Pre-veterinary students are encouraged to apply. Position can be part-time or full-time, although it will be possible to work around class schedule for the right candidate. The position may be available full time as our latest pre-veterinary interns receive good news regarding admission to veterinary schools.
