Take patient histories and educate clients Triage walk-ins and assess emergent cases Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters Run in-house diagnostics (Idexx lab equipment & digital radiology) Administer treatments (IV, SQ, IM) Monitor anesthesia and sedation Provide ongoing hospitalized patient care Use and promote low-stress handling techniques when restraining patients and performing treatments. About theRole:
We're hiring for another full-time Veterinary Technician/ Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Shifts are typically 9-10 hours, and availability on rotating weekends is expected. Our clinic is open 10 AM-7 PM, 7 days a week, but please note: 7 PM is our last check-in time, not our closing time. Some evenings may run later, and flexibility is a must.What We're Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant Licensure preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and adaptability Open availability Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
