Position Overview Join our team as an ER/ICU Veterinary Assistant who supports the veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising and grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining and handling patients, and clerical and administrative work. They deliver quality care for all patients and provide exceptional service. Southwest Florida Veterinary Specialists in Bonita Springs, Florida, is a leading specialty hospital offering advanced care across multiple disciplines. With board-certified specialists and cutting-edge technology, the team delivers exceptional, referral-level care for complex cases. Key Responsibilities supports the veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising and grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining and handling patients, and clerical and administrative work. They deliver quality care for all patients and provide exceptional service. Qualifications (Required) Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position Must have 1 year of veterinary technician experience. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Cornerstone experience. Experience with IV catheter placement. Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or the Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) preferred.
