Veterinary Assistant/Technician Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during medical emergencies and routine appointments; Obtain relevant patient health history, patient vitals, maintain detailed medical records; Vaccine preparation and storage; Outpatient and in hospital patient care and treatments i.e nail trim, patient sample handling, anal gland expression, ear treatments; Radiograph positioning; Attentive patient care and husbandry; Recognition of animal behavior; Safe and Low Stress handling and restraint.

Veterinary Assistant/Technician Qualifications:

At least 2 year of veterinary experience preferred Interested in a career as a Certified Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian. Minimum of 2 years of college education Benefits for
