Job Description

Performs technical and routine animal care duties related to the medical care of animals housed at the FKSPCA, and for the animals we serve through the FKSPCA Spay Neuter & Wellness clinic.
This work involves:
Assisting the Shelter Veterinarian and staff with exams, diagnostic tests, and administering treatment and medications. Perform sterile surgical prep and monitor anesthesia. Maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the clinic and exam areas. Assist in the training of Clinic Volunteers. Ability to Lift 50 lbs. Standing on feet for long periods of time.
