Currently searching for a Full-time Veterinary Assistant. A part-time position will be considered for an exceptional candidate, but preference will be given to full-time applicants. We are a busy 40-year established Veterinary hospital in the Clearwater/Largo area. We offer our clients the highest quality medical care including laser therapy, advanced ultrasound exams, and digital dental and full-body radiographs. Veterinary Assistant positions are open to applicants with Veterinary experience only. Assistants aid both the Technicians and Veterinarians in pet care, including patient handling and restraint, sample preparation, surgical and diagnostic assistance, and general patient and client comfort. Assistants will be expected to aid the Technicians in client communication, and therefore must have a strong interest in learning more about the veterinary field.
