Job Description

Veterinary Technician Assistant / Client Service Representative (CSR) - Full-Time Greenlight Pet ER is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Veterinary Technician Assistant/CSR to join our emergency hospital team. This hybrid position supports both the clinical team and front desk while helping create a positive experience for clients and their pets. Schedule Three 12-hour shifts per week Weekend and holiday availability required Day, evening, or overnight availability may be required Responsibilities Welcome clients and assist with patient check-in and discharge Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients Gather accurate client and patient information Process payments, prepare estimates, and obtain required signatures Assist technicians with patient restraint, transport, and basic care Maintain clean and organized exam, treatment, and reception areas Stock supplies and prepare treatment areas Assist with laundry, dishes, kennels, and general hospital upkeep Support the medical team during busy or urgent situations Maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality Qualifications Previous veterinary, animal-care, customer-service, or reception experience preferred Excellent communication and customer-service skills Comfortable working with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments Ability to remain calm and compassionate in an emergency environment Strong organization, multitasking, and computer skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to support all areas of the hospital Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or assist with patients Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a team player who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and understands that every role contributes to excellent patient care.
