Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for someone passionate about animals and interested in growing within the veterinary field.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Restrain animals safely and compassionately Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas Clean and sterilize equipment Administer medications as directed Assist with laboratory work and diagnostics Provide excellent client service and communication Help care for boarding animals
Qualifications:
Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred (but not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to lift and handle animals safely
