Our ophthalmology department treats a wide variety of eye conditions in small animals and exotic pets, combining advanced diagnostics with surgical and medical expertise.

What You'll Do:

As a Veterinary Ophthalmology Technician, you'll support our board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists and play a key role in: Assisting with comprehensive eye exams and diagnostic testing (Schirmer tear tests, fluorescein staining, tonometry, ocular ultrasound, ERG, etc.) Preparing for and assisting in microsurgical ophthalmic procedures Monitoring anesthesia and post-operative recovery Managing and maintaining specialized ophthalmic instruments and equipment Communicating with clients regarding medication administration and post-op care Maintaining detailed patient records and assisting with case management

Qualifications:

Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience; ophthalmology or specialty experience preferred Proficiency with handling and restraining animals for ophthalmic procedures Excellent communication, multitasking, and team collaboration skills Why Join Us?
