The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of solid small animal veterinary practice experience. The successful employee has the ability to be a team player, multitask, quickly prioritize, problem solve, and handle stressful situations while maintaining a positive outlook. As part of our team you are expected to provide the highest level of patient care and client service. Key nursing skills include but are not limited to proper physical restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, drug calculations, administering medication, anesthesia monitoring, making radiographs, maintaining logs, and client servicing. Excellent written and oral communication, basic math skills and computer literacy is a must along with a dedication to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
