Job Description
About us: Sixes Animal Hospital at BridgeMill is a locally and family owned full service animal hospital. Located in west Cherokee County near the growing BridgeMill community, our facility is newly renovated and outfitted with state of the art medical equipment. As a new privately owned business, we are looking for a motivated team member to help build our hospital. Because this practice is new, opportunity for growth within the hospital for early employees is significant. Ideal applicants are hard working, outgoing, and enthusiastic about caring for animals. Qualified applicants will ideally have 1 year vet tech or assistant experience and should be able or willing to learn to assist with medical procedures including drawing blood, placing IV catheters, obtaining radiographs, and perform dental cleanings be able or willing to learn to assist with surgical procedures including surgical prep, monitoring during surgery, anesthetic recovery, and sterilizing surgery instruments be able to lift 50lbs be able to have a great rapport with clients
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday (except Wednesday) 8:30am-6pm Saturday 8:30-12pm
Closed Wednesday and Sunday Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
