Job Description
We are seeking an experienced veterinary assistant or registered veterinary technician to join our amazing team. We are hiring for a full time permanent position. The candidate must be very dependable and have schedule flexibility. We are a full service clinic including digital radiography, ultrasound, in house labwork, and CO2 Laser surgical procedures serving Butts County and the surrounding areas. We are a fast paced growing veterinary hospital and we perform a variety of procedures. The ideal candidate is a friendly and enthusiastic team player that has a passion for quality veterinary care, client education and customer service. Candidate must love pets and their owners! Please apply in person. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians in examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment. Handle and restrain animals safely during treatments and examinations. Monitor animal vital signs and provide basic care, including feeding and administering medications. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with laboratory tests as needed. Educate pet owners on proper care and health maintenance for their animals. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic and animal enclosures. Qualifications Proven veterinary experience and animal handling skills Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology Proficiency in animal catheterization and restraint techniques Familiarity with pet care and animal anatomy
