Why Our Veterinary Technicians Love Sugarloaf Animal Hospital A supportive, team-first environment where everyone pitches in and has each other's back A positive, welcoming culture for both clients and team members The opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and continue building your skills A practice that values high-quality medicine and patient care A consistent weekday schedule—no weekends required A workplace that genuinely prioritizes work-life balance What You'll Do Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia Administer IV and SQ injections Safely handle and restrain animals of all sizes (up to 50 lbs) Maintain accurate medical records and perform basic medical math calculations Support client communication and education Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Confidence in animal handling and clinical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependability and a strong work ethic Experience with EzyVet software is a plus!
