Experienced Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician Wanted Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic - Marietta, GA $16-$20 per hour Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician looking for a place where your hard work is appreciated and your skills truly matter? At Town & Country West Veterinary Clinic, we have proudly cared for pets and their families in the Marietta community for 26 years. We are a privately owned, doctor-led small animal practice, and we take pride in treating our staff and clients like family. We are looking for someone compassionate, dependable, and experienced who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is committed to providing excellent patient care. Why People Love Working Here We are locally owned and not corporate We have served the community for 26 years Our team is supportive, respectful, and close-knit We have loyal clients who trust us across generations We do not offer boarding, so our focus stays on quality medicine Your experience and contributions are valued here What We're Looking For We are seeking someone with: At least 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician Strong venipuncture and catheter placement skills Experience in monitoring anesthesia Surgical and dental assisting experience Confidence handling fractious pets safely Experience running in-house diagnostics Ability to care for hospitalized patients Comfort with prescriptions and inventory support Ability to lift up to 50 lbs A positive attitude and strong team spirit Experience with AVImark is a bonus. If you have less than five years of experience, we may still consider you at a lower starting rate. What You'll Be Doing Helping restrain pets for exams and treatments Collecting blood and other samples Running in-house lab work Assisting with surgeries and dental procedures Monitoring anesthesia Caring for hospitalized pets Filling prescriptions Setting up exam rooms Keeping the clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly Taking dental radiographs and other radiographs as directed Pay and Benefits $16-$20 per hour , based on experience and skill level Health insurance bonus Discounted vision, dental, life, and supplemental insurance Employee discount 3%
