Job Description

The Adoptions Assistant is directly responsible for utilizing progressive, conversation-based adoption counseling to facilitate the adoption of shelter animals. Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to responding to adoption applications in a timely manner, facilitating meet and greets, writing emails, phone conversations, conversing via text message, participating in weekly Adoptions meetings, participating in Adoption events, educating interested adopters about individual animals, providing care to shelter animals through cleaning and feeding, and more.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree, preferred. Experience in customer service, preferred. Experience with animals, preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a team Must possess effective communication skills and proficiency with technology
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
