St. Francis Veterinary Clinic - Grimes, Iowa St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, a well-established, growing, family-owned practice in Grimes, IA, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our close-knit team. An experienced Veterinary Assistant is needed at a small, family-owned veterinary hospital in Grimes, Iowa. Duties include assisting veterinarians, monitoring anesthesia, and inventory management. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, gas anesthesia, and a dental machine. Experience with Avimark is a plus. We offer competitive wages and our hours are wonderful. Key Responsibilities:

Educating clients about preventive care Restraining animal and assisting veterinarians Filling medications and going over them with clients Drawing blood Taking radiographs Monitoring anesthesia Discharging surgery patients
