Job Description
Now Hiring:
Kennel Assistant Mountain River Veterinary Hospital is a growing clinic with a passion for our patient's well-being. We are looking to add a positive, responsible, organized Kennel Assistant to our team! As a Kennel Assistant, you are responsible for the care of the animals boarding with us. Additional responsibilities include taking incoming calls, booking stays, checking-in/checking-out clients, processing payments, communicating effectively with co-workers, and creating a warm and welcoming environment. Some weekends and holidays are required. Must be comfortable and confident with all animals, able to handle fractious cats or aggressive dogs. Animal experience is preferred.- Due to the nature of some of the animals, medications given, and some shifts scheduled as the only staff member, all applicants MUST be at least 18 years of age or older to apply
- Starting wage: $15 per hour
Schedule:
Part time: 15-25 hours per week MUST be able to work the following schedule:- Wednesdays 7:30am-6:00pm
- Thursdays 7:30-1:00pm
- Rotating weekends
