We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide a fast paced and fun working environment. Everyone is laid back and enjoys working in a team environment. Our goal is to help animals and provide the best possible care regardless of our lower than average prices.. Are you a current vet tech looking for more part-time or full-time hours hours? Do you love being actively involved with patients? Does helping rescue animals make you happy? If so, join the SNIP Society team. We're looking for a part-time (20-30 hrs/week) vet tech with at least 2 years of experience to help us fill in some gaps in our scheduling. Must be available on Mondays, Thursdays & Friday. Tasks include, but not limited to: Assisting vet during vaccine clinics - drawing up vaccines and holding animals Assisting vet during Surgery Running diagnostic testing; snap tests, blood work, fecal, etc... Recovering animals from surgery Must be able to lift 50 pounds Inducing and intubating patients for surgery Working with clients to explain proper care for pets Taking appointments over the phone and creating accounts in clinic software
