Countryside Animal Hospital P.C. Where preventative care is affordable care for your precious paws We are currently seeking a full-time veterinary technician assistant or CVT to join our team. We are looking for someone that is compassionate about animals with the skills to help clients appreciate the value of pet healthcare. In addition, we are interested in a person that can understand the importance of exceptional client service and patient advocacy.
Job Description:
The Veterinary Technician is a key member of the hospital team who supports and assists the veterinarian. The technician provides compassionate care, client communications, and assisting the veterinarian in providing the best quality of care for all patients. Full Time •
Schedule:
Typical shifts are 8-10 hours long. Shift hours vary but fall within hospital operational hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8am-6pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm
Skills Needed:
Communication with clients in person and by phone Caring for animals and proper restraining techniques Ability to work with computer-based veterinary software' Veterinary technical skills such as; Blood draws, IV Catheter placement and care, surgical monitoring, administering
SQ, IM, IV
drugs. '
