We strive to hold a friendly and welcoming environment to ensure a life-long relationship with patients. We are looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. This position is a 40-hour, full time schedule as we are very busy and growing! This position is Monday

• Friday 9:00am
• 6:00pm (and some Saturdays from 10am
• 2pm).

Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarian by using proper restraint and handling of animals
• Perform blood, urine, and fecal tests
• Administer medications
• Perform venipuncture, catheterization, IV fluids, and prepare animals for surgery
• Assist veterinarian with surgeries and procedures
• Monitor animals pre, during, and post-surgery
• Manage anesthesia
• Perform laboratory work
• Use veterinary computer system to chart patient information and visit / vet notes
• Practice sterile and cleaning procedures with surgical instruments and other veterinary equipment
• Operate radiology machine
• Perform dental cleaning procedures
• Work closely with receptionists and other staff members to provide positive and efficient patient flow
• Provide excellent experience to clients to create a life-long relationship with patients
• Attend company meetings

Veterinary Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Veterinary Technician School (preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience (required)
• Quick learner
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
