Job Description
Job Summary The Purdue Veterinary Hospital is looking for enthusiastic veterinary assistants to join our large animal team. Veterinary assistants are responsible for maintaining a clean and stocked hospital, providing basic animal care needs, and helping the team work more efficiently to complete orders and patient treatments. Tasks include patient restraint, set-up, and clean-up for specific procedures including knowledge of specific equipment, stocking and cleaning of patient care areas, and transportation of equipment and supplies between all areas of the hospital. This position will be working with our inpatient treatment team and work a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and some holiday coverage.
