  • We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess excellent customer service skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can interact with pets and their owners.
Duties:
Ensuring treatment areas and exam rooms are clean and organized. Sterilizing equipment. Providing empathetic care for all patients. Restraining patients appropriately and safely where required. Assisting with administering medication & drawing blood Performing diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests. Educating clients with doctor recommendations. Complying with hospital standards, rules, regulations, and policies. Maintaining medical records. Assist the veterinarian with surgery prep, procedures and clean up.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in animal care or related field is a plus
  • Ability to handle animals with care and compassion is a must
  • Strong customer service skills & friendly, positive attitude
  • Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
  • Knowledge of basic pet care and grooming techniques
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology is beneficial
