This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, values teamwork, and takes pride in providing excellent care for pets while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities Feed, water, medicate (if needed), and care for hospitalized and boarding animals Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and treatment areas Walk and exercise dogs as directed Monitor animals and report changes in behavior or health to veterinary staff Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint and basic patient care, flexible area of position, switching between treatment and kennel areas Launder bedding and maintain a clean, organized facility Stock supplies and assist with general clinic housekeeping Provide compassionate care and attention to every patient Qualifications Genuine love of animals and concern for their well-being Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments Able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, standing, and cleaning Weekend and holiday availability are required Previous experience in animal care is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Training for the right person will be provided. Working hours include weekdays, weekends and holidays. We are hiring for full and/or part time positions. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
