Job Description
Single doctor practice looking to hire a veterinary technician/assistant/receptionist. Not corporately owned. My long-time veterinary assistant/office manager is leaving to pursue other adventures. We are looking for someone to fill her position. Qualified applicant would be involved with all aspects of the veterinary practice from answering phones, checking in/out clients, taking histories, entering data into Avimark the practice management systems, assisting the doctor and inventory. Due the the small town nature of the practice, our clients are also our friends and neighbors, many of them have known Dr. Weber since she was little. We practice high quality medicine and have in house digital radiographs, in house laboratory and therapy laser. Skills that are required are the following: attention to detail, honesty and integrity, punctuality, ability to communicate well and work as a team. Skills that would be desired are experience in a veterinary practice, certified veterinary technician, customer service, animal grooming.
