Job Description:

This is a one year anesthesiology teaching position that will provide instructional support in the clinical and surgical skills laboratories. 80% Instruct year 1- 4 DVM students in the principles and application of anesthesia in clinical skills and surgical skills laboratories, including live animal laboratories. Participate in didactic instruction including clinical rotations. 20% Other duties as assigned including emergency duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

DVM degree or equivalent Specific experience: Successful completion of a one-year rotating internship or anesthesia internship or equivalent related veterinary experience.

Minimum Certifications/Licenses:

Eligible for Louisiana faculty DVM licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

DVM Specific experience: One year experience teaching Anesthesia and Analgesia (didact or clinical)
