Veterinary Assistant Coursey Blvd Animal Hospital - 2.5 Baton Rouge, LA Job Details Full-time $13 - $14 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Animal hospital experience Client rapport building Client file management File organization Office record organization Full Job Description 1 year experience working in a Veterinary Hospital as a Vet Tech Working with animals and as a receptionist is a major responsibility Job duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments and checking clients in and out for appointments Organizational skills are necessary for maintaining files as well as the ability to multitask, constantly re-prioritize and follow policies and procedures This position will include working as a technician directly with the doctor. This requires the ability to take and follow instruction and think on your feet. Being friendly and having positive interactive personal skills to work face to face with clients Must have a vehicle available at work at all times Afternoon Hours Monday through Friday Saturdays as needed Pay is based on experience
