Goodwood Veterinary Clinic is a small animal hospital dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care for our patients and honest, friendly service for their families. We're growing our team and looking for a Veterinary Technician who takes pride in great patient care and enjoys working alongside a supportive team.THE ROLE
We're hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician to support our veterinarians in daily patient care, from routine wellness visits to diagnostics and surgical procedures. We welcome applications from licensed/credentialed techs (LVT/CVT/RVT) as well as experienced techs without formal credentials — what matters most is hands-on skill and a genuine love for animal care.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia
- Perform lab work (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, etc.)
- Take and process radiographs
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate pet owners on home care, medications, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area
- Support front-desk and kennel staff as needed during busy periods
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant (LVT/CVT/RVT preferred, not required)
- Comfortable handling and restraining animals of varying temperaments
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
