We're a growing 24 hour small animal hospital dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to pets and their families. Our team is supportive, collaborative, and passionate about what we do. We're looking for an Mid-Shift Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our family and help us continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients—day and night. About the
Role:
This is a great opportunity for an animal lover who enjoys helping people and pets in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and patient under pressure, with excellent communication and multitasking skills. Experience in customer service is required, and prior veterinary or animal care experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and provide excellent client service Schedule and confirm appointments Greet clients and patients upon arrival Check patients in and out, process payments, and review invoices Assist veterinarians and technicians when needed Comfort and calm pets and owners during emergencies Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry Scan, attach, and organize documents in the hospital system Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all hospital safety and wellness procedures
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Comfortable working with animals of all temperaments Ability to stay calm and compassionate in high-stress situations Must be available for overnight shifts, including weekends
