This position is primarily reception-based, with occasional technician assistant duties as needed. We are looking for a motivated, dependable team member with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional care and service to both clients and patients.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a veterinary office required Experience with Avimark preferred Excellent communication, customer-service, and multitasking skills Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist with animal restraint Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Responsibilities include: Answering phones and triaging client questions and concerns Scheduling appointments and providing basic general-practice information Educating clients about vaccinations, preventive care, and recommended services Processing medication refill requests, client checkouts, and payments Managing emails, reports, filing, and other general administrative tasks Maintaining clean, organized reception and exam-room areas Assisting with exam-room setup, patient flow, and room cleaning Supporting surgical intake and discharge procedures Assisting veterinary technicians and the doctor with animal restraint and other patient-care tasks as needed If you are reliable, compassionate, organized, and enjoy being part of a close-knit veterinary team, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 33.0 per week
