We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team at Community Animal Hospital in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting our veterinarians and technicians, and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians with medical procedures, surgeries, and instruments Prepare animals for exams and treatment, including restraint and grooming Administer medications and perform vaccinations Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment Clean and disinfect treatment areas, equipment, and cages Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to develop and implement treatment plans Perform other tasks as assigned by management and veterinarians
