Brentwood Animal Hospital Brentwood, MD Join Our Team! Brentwood Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in veterinary medicine while making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families. Responsibilities Provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding pets. Feed, water, and medicate animals as directed. Walk dogs and monitor elimination habits. Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and treatment areas. Launder bedding and maintain a clean hospital environment. Monitor patients for changes in behavior or health and report concerns to the veterinary team. Safely handle dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint when needed. Stock supplies and assist with general hospital maintenance. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients during pet drop-off and pick-up. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and cleaning throughout the workday. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
