Veterinary Tech/Assistant Charlevoix, MI 49720 $17.50 - $20.50 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $17.50 - $20.50 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Technician duties may include, according to experience, surgical assistance, anesthesia induction and monitoring, care and medication of hospitalized and outpatients, dental scaling and polishing as well as oral nerve blocks, radiography (digital), laboratory work and some general cleaning. Technicians in our practice see patients for routine treatments, such as toe nail trims, anal gland expression, certain injections and go over discharge instructions with clients. We are looking for a team player with excellent "people skills". Our practice prides itself on treating every patient as an individual, and by providing our clients with the best possible service and respect. Dogs and cats are the majority of our patients. We also see some rabbits and occasionally rodents and small reptiles.
