Duties Assisting veterinarians during appointments, examinations, and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care. Communicating effectively with clients, providing education about animal health, treatments, and preventive care. Obtaining medical histories from clients and composing detailed notes to support accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. Handling and caring for patients before, during, and after veterinary procedures to promote comfort and well-being. Maintaining hospital cleanliness by cleaning treatment areas, kennels, equipment, and ensuring a sanitary environment. Managing record-keeping tasks accurately, including updating patient files, treatment logs, and appointment schedules. Supporting client communication through appointment reminders, follow-up calls, or answering basic inquiries as needed. Requirements Prior experience or training in veterinary assisting or related animal care fields is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and education. Compassionate attitude towards animals and clients with a professional demeanor.
