On-the-job training Lively atmosphere Company perks Grand Rapids Vet Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting the practice with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, performing routine dental and dental extractions, minor surgery, xray, exam rooms, holding/lifting patients, client education, triage, cleaning, lab work. We are willing to train the right candidate. The right candidate must be able to work as a team member. Wage is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care including but not limited to xray, triage exams, dental cleaning, minor surgeries, lab work. We are willing to train the right candidate! Maintain accurate records and patient histories. Assist with scheduling appointments for patients. Clean and organize equipment. This includes sterilizing instruments, cleaning tools, and other equipment.
