Join a Team Where Your Skills Matter Paw Paw Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are a privately owned, 6-doctor small animal and exotic practice in Southwest Michigan, dedicated to high-quality medicine, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Our recently built hospital is equipped with the technology and resources needed to provide excellent veterinary care. Our Veterinary Assistants play an important role in supporting our doctors and technicians while helping provide a positive experience for every patient and client.
Our services include:
General medicine and preventive care Daytime urgent care Surgery and dentistry Integrative medicine We care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pocket pets, reptiles, and other exotic species, providing an interesting and diverse caseload. You'll work closely with our doctors, technicians, and other support staff while assisting with patient care, appointments, treatments, procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized hospital. We're Looking for aVeterinary Assistant Who:
Has previous veterinary or animal-care experience Is comfortable handling dogs, cats, and a variety of other species Communicates well with clients and coworkers Is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Is willing to learn and take initiative Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team Is passionate about providing excellent patient carePay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
